2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- AnimalNet or the Platform means the AnimalNet website, application and related services.
- the Provider means the company Vision line, s.r.o.
- the User means a person who uses the Platform or has created an account.
- Account means a user account created through registration.
- Content means, in particular, text, photographs, comments, messages, profiles, listings, ratings and other materials submitted by a User.
- Marketplace means the part of the Platform where Users may publish or browse offers and listings, where this feature is available.
3. Nature of the Platform
AnimalNet is a community platform for pet owners, animal lovers, veterinarians, trainers, shelters and other persons or entities active in animal care.
The Platform may, in particular, allow:
- creating a user profile,
- creating an animal profile,
- sharing posts and photographs,
- commenting on and reacting to content,
- communication between Users,
- searching profiles of veterinarians, trainers and shelters,
- posting or browsing listings in the Marketplace,
- using other features available on the Platform.
Some features may be temporarily unavailable, modified or removed.
4. Registration and User Age
Registration is required to create an Account.
When registering, the User provides, in particular, an email address, a password, a username and confirmation that they have reached the age of 16.
Accounts and the interactive community features of the AnimalNet platform are intended for Users at least 16 years of age. Selected public information may be viewed without registration; it is not intended for children. Persons under the age of 16 may not create an Account or use the Platform's interactive community features.
If the Provider discovers or has reasonable grounds to suspect that an Account was created by a person under the age of 16, the Provider may cancel the Account and delete or anonymise the related data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
The User is obliged to provide truthful, current and complete information and to keep it up to date.
5. Account Security
The User is responsible for protecting their Account and password.
The User undertakes to:
- not share their login credentials with other persons,
- protect their password against misuse,
- not use another person's Account without authorisation,
- promptly contact the Provider if they suspect unauthorised access to their Account.
The Provider will never ask a User for their password by email or message.
6. Rules for Using the Platform
The User undertakes to use the Platform in accordance with applicable law, these Terms and Conditions, the Security Policy and good morals.
The User must not, in particular:
- publish unlawful, deceptive, offensive, threatening or harassing content,
- bully, harass, intimidate or discriminate against other Users,
- publish personal data of other persons without authorisation,
- impersonate another person or create fake profiles,
- spread spam, fraud, malicious software or misleading information,
- publish content that infringes copyright or other rights of third parties,
- publish content that promotes violence, self-harm or hatred,
- publish content depicting or promoting the abuse, neglect or unlawful treatment of animals,
- use the Platform for the unlawful sale of animals, goods or services,
- publish sexual, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate content,
- publish any content related to the sexual abuse or exploitation of children.
7. User Content
The User is responsible for the Content they publish, submit or otherwise make available on the Platform.
The User represents that they have the right to publish the Content they upload to the Platform and that such Content does not infringe the rights of third parties or applicable law.
The Provider is not obliged to review all User Content in advance. However, the Provider may review Content, adjust its visibility, remove it or take other measures if it suspects that the Content violates these Terms and Conditions, the Security Policy or applicable law.
The User acknowledges that some Content may be visible to other Users or visitors of the Platform depending on the service settings.
8. Licence to User Content
The User remains the owner of their Content.
By publishing Content on the AnimalNet platform, the User grants the Provider a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such Content to the extent necessary to operate, display, technically process, store and make available the Content within the AnimalNet platform.
This licence lasts for as long as the Content remains available on the Platform. If the User removes the Content or deletes their Account, the licence terminates, except where its continued retention is necessary for technical, security, legal or legitimate reasons.
The Provider will use a User's Content outside the Platform for marketing purposes only with the User's separate consent or on another valid legal basis.
9. Marketplace and Commercial Interactions
Where the Marketplace is available on the Platform, it serves as a space for Users to publish and browse listings or offers.
The Provider is not the seller, buyer, payment intermediary or a party to agreements between Users, unless expressly stated otherwise.
A User who publishes an offer or listing is responsible for:
- the accuracy and completeness of the information provided,
- the lawfulness of the offer,
- having the right to offer the given goods, service or animal,
- compliance with all legal obligations,
- communication and agreement with the other party.
Prohibited content includes, in particular, fraudulent offers, the unlawful sale of animals, offers that infringe the rights of third parties, the sale of prohibited or dangerous products, and content that promotes cruelty or unethical treatment of animals.
The Provider may remove a listing or restrict an Account if it suspects a violation of these Terms and Conditions or applicable law.
10. Future Commercial Features
AnimalNet may, in the future, make commercial features available, such as an online shop, recommendations for partner products, affiliate links, marketplace features or other forms of offering goods and services.
If such features are launched, their use may be governed by separate terms and conditions, complaints procedures, withdrawal-from-contract rules or other documents, depending on how the specific service operates.
Until such features are launched, AnimalNet does not act as a seller of goods to consumers, unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific offer.
11. In-Person Meetings and Communication Outside the Platform
AnimalNet may enable Users to establish contact with one another. However, the Provider does not organise in-person meetings between Users and is not liable for the conduct of Users outside the Platform, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The User decides on any in-person meeting, communication outside the Platform, or commercial agreement at their own discretion and risk.

12. Reporting and Blocking
A User may report content or behaviour that violates these Terms and Conditions, the Security Policy, the Child Safety Standards or applicable law.
Where a reporting or blocking feature is available for specific content, a profile or communication, the User may use it directly within the Platform.

The Provider may review a report and take appropriate measures.
13. Measures for Breach of the Rules
If a User breaches these Terms and Conditions, the Security Policy or applicable law, the Provider may take, in particular, the following measures:
- removing or hiding Content,
- warning the User,
- restricting features,
- temporarily suspending the Account,
- permanently cancelling the Account,
- technical measures against misuse,
- notifying the relevant authorities, where required by law or the seriousness of the situation.
14. Availability and Changes to the Service
The Platform is provided on an "as available" basis.
The Provider strives to ensure the proper functioning and availability of the Platform, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or continuous operation.
The Provider may modify, temporarily suspend or discontinue the Platform or parts of it, in particular for technical, security, legal or operational reasons.
15. Liability
The Provider is not liable for Content published by Users where it is unaware of its unlawfulness and, upon becoming aware of it, takes appropriate measures in accordance with applicable law.
The Provider is not liable for agreements, communication, commercial transactions, in-person meetings or other interactions between Users outside the Platform, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Protection of Personal Data
Information on the processing of personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, the User acknowledges that the processing of personal data takes place in accordance with that policy.
17. Deletion of Account and Data
A User may delete their Account and related personal data at any time within the AnimalNet platform, in the "My Profile" section, by clicking the "Delete entire account" button.
If a User does not have access to their Account or the application, they may request deletion of their Account by email to:

18. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
The Provider may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time, in particular in the event of changes to the Platform's features, legal requirements or operational needs.
The current version is always available on the AnimalNet website.
In the event of a material change, the Provider may inform Users in an appropriate manner, for example by publishing a notice or by email.
19. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.
Where the User is a consumer, this provision does not affect the rights afforded to them by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence.
