Account Deletion

On this page you can request the deletion of your account on the AnimalNet platform and the data associated with it. We will process your request within 30 days at the latest.

You can also delete your account yourself

If you are able to log in to your account, the fastest way is directly in the app: My profile → Delete entire account. The deletion happens immediately and you don't need to wait for your request to be processed. This form is for cases where you can no longer access your account.

What gets deleted

• your login account and email address,
• all animal profiles, including name, description, photographs and notes,
• posts, comments, ratings and saved content,
• messages you have sent, and the list of profiles you follow,
• listings added in the Marketplace.

What we have to keep

After your account is deleted, we retain only what the law requires us to keep or what we need to protect the platform:

• records of reported or unlawful content and of how incidents were resolved,
• data needed to fulfil legal obligations, for as long as the law requires,
• technical operating records, which are automatically deleted once the retention period expires.

How to submit a request

Fill in the form below. Provide the username (nickname) of the account to be deleted, and an email address where we can reach you — we need to verify that the request is being made by the account owner. You can also send your request by email to info@animalnet.sk.
