Child Safety Standards

These Child Safety Standards set out the rules and procedures of the AnimalNet platform, operated by Vision line, s.r.o., for protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for preventing the spread of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

These standards are publicly available to users, parents, legal guardians, public authorities and the platforms through which the AnimalNet application is distributed.

1. Scope and Purpose

These standards apply to all users of the AnimalNet platform and to all content that is shared, uploaded, sent or otherwise made available within the platform.

They apply in particular to:

• user profiles,
• animal profiles,
• photographs,
• posts,
• comments,
• messages,
• classified ads,
• reviews,
• reports and other user-generated content.

The purpose of these standards is to:

• protect children and minors from any form of sexual abuse and exploitation,
• prevent the creation, distribution or provision of CSAE/CSAM content,
• enable users to report suspicious or harmful content,
• ensure an appropriate response to reports,
• comply with the legislation of the Slovak Republic, the European Union and the rules of distribution platforms, including Google Play.

2. Age Restriction

Accounts and interactive community features of the AnimalNet platform are intended for users aged at least 16. Selected public information may be viewed without registration; it is not intended for children.

Persons under the age of 16 may not create an account or use the interactive community features of the AnimalNet platform. Upon registration, the user confirms that they have reached the age of 16.

If the operator discovers or has reasonable grounds to suspect that an account was created by a person under the age of 16, it may restrict or cancel the account and delete or anonymise the related data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

3. Express Prohibition of CSAE/CSAM

Any content or behaviour related to the sexual abuse or exploitation of children is strictly prohibited on the AnimalNet platform.

In particular, the following is prohibited:

• creating, uploading, sharing or distributing materials depicting the sexual abuse of children,
• child pornography or any sexual content involving children or persons who appear to be children,
• sexualised content depicting or describing minors,
• grooming, meaning establishing contact with a minor with the intent of sexual abuse or exploitation,
• soliciting, coercing or blackmailing minors to obtain intimate photographs, videos or other sexual content,
• sharing instructions on how to create, obtain, hide or distribute CSAE/CSAM materials,
• encouraging other users to engage in such conduct,
• any attempts to circumvent the platform's security measures.

Breach of these rules may result in the immediate removal of content, blocking of the account and, where required by law or the circumstances of the case, a report to the relevant authorities.

4. Reporting Content and Behaviour

Users may report content or behaviour that may be related to the sexual abuse or exploitation of children, the endangerment of minors, or any other breach of these standards.

In particular, the following may be reported:

• an inappropriate profile,
• a photograph,
• a post,
• a comment,
• a message,
• a classified ad,
• suspicious behaviour of a user,
• an attempt at grooming,
• a request for intimate photographs or personal data of minors.

Where a reporting feature is available for a given piece of content, profile or communication, the user can use it directly within the platform.

The in-app reporting feature is available directly within the platform for profiles, posts, comments, messages and classified ads alike — on the website as well as in the mobile application.

In addition to reporting another user, a user may also block them. Once blocked, the two users can no longer see each other's posts or comments, and the blocked user cannot send messages. Blocking takes effect immediately, does not depend on the outcome of any report review, and the other party is not notified of it.

When submitting a report, we recommend including as much information as possible, such as the username, a description of the situation, a link to the content, the date, a screenshot and the reason for the report.

5. Handling of Reports

The operator reviews every report relating to CSAE/CSAM or the endangerment of children with appropriate priority.

Depending on the nature and severity of the case, the operator may take, in particular, the following measures:

• temporarily disable access to or remove the reported content,
• restrict the visibility of the content,
• block or restrict the user's account,
• permanently terminate the user's account,
• retain relevant data to the extent permitted by law,
• report the matter to the relevant authorities,
• adopt technical measures to prevent further misuse of the platform.

6. Moderation and Safety Measures

AnimalNet may review reported content, suspicious content or suspicious behaviour to the extent necessary to protect users, children and minors, to secure the platform and to fulfil its legal obligations.

The operator may use technical, organisational and manual measures to prevent and address misuse of the platform.

AnimalNet does not tolerate content or behaviour that endangers the safety of children or minors.

7. Cooperation with Authorities

If the operator forms a reasonable suspicion that a criminal offence has occurred relating to the sexual abuse of children, the sexual exploitation of children, or the distribution of CSAE/CSAM materials, it may report the matter to the relevant public authorities in accordance with applicable law.

In the event of such a suspicion, the operator may retain relevant data, such as technical logs, IP addresses, timestamps, account identification or related communication, to the extent permitted by data protection law.

8. Data Protection

The operator processes users' personal data in accordance with the GDPR, Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data and related legislation.

When handling reports relating to child protection, we process data only to the extent necessary to review the report, take safety measures, protect users, protect legal claims and fulfil statutory obligations.

10. Compliance with Legislation and Platform Rules

The operator declares that the AnimalNet platform takes appropriate measures to comply with the legislation of the Slovak Republic and the European Union relating to the protection of children, the sexual abuse of children, the sexual exploitation of children, the protection of personal data and user safety.

The operator undertakes to:

• keep these standards updated in line with changes in legislation and the requirements of distribution platforms,
• respond to input from users, parents, legal guardians and public authorities,
• cooperate with the relevant authorities to the extent required by law,
• cooperate with the platforms on which the AnimalNet application is available in resolving safety incidents.

11. Emergency Situations

AnimalNet is not an emergency or rescue service.

If there is an immediate threat to the life, health or safety of a child, a minor or another person, contact the police or the relevant emergency line.

12. Changes to These Standards

We may update these Child Safety Standards from time to time, in particular in response to changes in the platform's features, legal requirements or safety rules.

The current version is always available on the AnimalNet website.
