1. Account Security
The user is responsible for protecting their account.
We particularly recommend:
- using a strong and unique password,
- not sharing your password with other people,
- not using the same password as in other services,
- logging out of devices used by more than one person,
- contacting us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
AnimalNet will never ask a user for their password by e-mail, message, or any other non-standard means.

2. Data Protection and Technical Security
The platform operator takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data and ensure the secure operation of the service.
These measures may include, in particular:
- secure communication,
- protection of access to user accounts,
- control of access to systems,
- technical monitoring of suspicious activity,
- data backup,
- handling security incidents,
- restricting access to data to authorised persons only.

3. Security of Communication Between Users
We recommend exercising caution when communicating with other users.
In particular, a user should not share:
- their home address,
- financial details,
- login credentials,
- copies of identity documents,
- sensitive personal data,
- information about other people without their consent.
If another user asks you for money, login credentials, suspicious payments, or personal information, we recommend ending the communication and reporting the user.
4. In-Person Meetings
AnimalNet may allow users to make contact with other users, veterinarians, trainers, shelters, or parties interested in the marketplace. However, AnimalNet does not organise in-person meetings between users and is not liable for users' conduct outside the platform, to the extent permitted by law.
If a user decides to meet another person outside the platform, they do so at their own discretion and risk.
We particularly recommend:
- arranging the first meeting in a public place,
- informing someone you trust of the place and time of the meeting,
- considering sharing your live location with someone close to you,
- not accepting a lift from someone you do not know well,
- not sharing your home address or sensitive personal data too soon,
- agreeing on the rules of interaction with animals in advance,
- making sure the animal is healthy, reasonably manageable, and supervised,
- ending the meeting if you do not feel safe.
5. Prohibited Conduct
In particular, the following is not permitted on the AnimalNet platform:
- bullying, harassment, threats, or intimidation,
- hateful, discriminatory, or offensive content,
- publishing other people's personal data without authorisation,
- impersonating another person or creating fake profiles,
- spam, fraud, or misleading offers,
- content promoting violence or self-harm,
- content depicting or promoting animal abuse, neglect, or unlawful treatment of animals,
- the unlawful sale of animals, services, or goods,
- sexual content, pornographic content, or content unsuitable for minors,
- any content related to the sexual abuse or exploitation of children.
A breach of these rules may result in the removal of content, restriction of features, temporary suspension of the account, or permanent account termination.
6. Protection of Children and Minors
Accounts and the interactive community features of the AnimalNet platform are intended for users aged at least 16. Selected public information may be viewed without registration; it is not intended for children.
Content or conduct that endangers children or minors is strictly prohibited. This includes, in particular, the sexual abuse or exploitation of children, inciting minors to engage in dangerous behaviour, grooming, sharing inappropriate content with minors, or attempts to obtain sensitive data from minors.
If we discover or obtain reasonable grounds to suspect content or conduct related to the sexual abuse or exploitation of children, we will take appropriate measures, including removing the content, blocking the account, and, where applicable, reporting the matter to the relevant authorities in accordance with the law.

7. Reporting Content and Users
A user may report content or conduct that breaches these Policies, the Child Safety Standards, the Terms and Conditions, or the law.
In particular, you can report:
- an inappropriate post,
- an inappropriate photo,
- a comment,
- a message,
- a user's profile,
- a listing,
- suspicious or dangerous behaviour.
If the reporting feature is available on the platform, we recommend using it directly on the specific content or profile. If the feature is not available or the situation is urgent, please contact us at:
When reporting, we recommend providing as much information as possible, such as the username, a link to or description of the content, the date, a screenshot, and the reason for the report.
8. Blocking Users
If a user does not want to communicate with another user or feels harassed, they may use the available options to block, restrict contact with, or report that user.

9. Moderation and Measures
AnimalNet may review reported content, profiles, messages, or other activity where there is a suspected breach of the platform's rules or the law.
Depending on the severity of the case, we may take the following measures, in particular:
- removal of content,
- hiding content,
- warning the user,
- restricting certain features,
- temporary suspension of the account,
- permanent termination of the account,
- taking technical measures against misuse,
- reporting to the relevant authorities where required by law or the severity of the situation.
10. Marketplace and Listings
Where the platform allows users to add listings or offers in the marketplace, the user is responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, and safety of their offer.
In particular, the following are prohibited:
- fraudulent or misleading offers,
- the unlawful sale of animals or goods,
- offers that infringe the rights of third parties,
- the sale of prohibited or dangerous products,
- content that promotes animal abuse or unethical treatment of animals.
AnimalNet may remove a listing that breaches the platform's rules or the law.
11. Emergency Situations
AnimalNet is not an emergency or rescue service.
If there is an immediate threat to the life, health, or safety of a person or an animal, contact the relevant emergency lines, the police, emergency veterinary services, or other relevant authorities.
